Speaker of the House John Boehner Criticizes Obama’s Policies

With President Obama’s State of The Union address coming up tomorrow,Speaker of the House John Boehner has come out saying the Presidents policies are “pathetic” and that he need to “go in a new direction”.

In an interview with Fox News Sunday morning Boehner stated “It sounds to me like the same old policies,” and “More spending and higher taxes and more regulations—the same policies that haven’t helped our economy, they’ve made it worse. And if that’s what the president’s going to talk about Tuesday night, I think it’s pathetic.”

The president blames Congress and Congress blames the President. It sounds like a whole lot of finger pointing and no one is willing to step up to the plate and take charge. 2011 was a year of nothing but failure for the “leadership” in this country. It’s high time the people take back the power and start making decisions which make SENSE. Giving big banks money makes no sense! Let them fall on their asses and close like any other business.

Maybe instead of increasing taxes (as well as spending) and putting the burden of this mess on the backs of hard working Americans, the Senate and the House should take some pay cuts. Maybe it’s time they started paying for their own health insurance, hell…. Maybe they shouldn’t be getting paid at ALL to serve in public office. I believe that serving your community should be a volunteer position, not a paid one. Get rid of their salaries, their limo’s and private jets, get rid of their health care packages and lets see where we get with a balanced budget!

Congress and their money
